In is written, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14, NKJV). This verse clearly points to Yeshua, the Divine Messiah, God in human form who is manifest and revealed to creation.
The rabbis teach that the word of God is referred to as the Shechinah (שכינה—in English—Shekhina). The word derives from the root Shechen (שכן), which means to dwell, and is used to describe God’s manifest glory or His manifest presence in the world.
In this evening of teaching and worship, we will learn about the High Holy Days and the soon return of the Shechinah, Yeshua the King who will one day dwell (Shochen) amongst us. We look forward to seeing all of you.
