A large, aggressive man claimed that my white peg tool board was his and took it away from me. At first, I conceded and allowed him to walk away, but then I realized he was taking all my tools. I went towards him and claimed the pegboard like mine. He said it was his and began showing me the tools he had placed on the board. His tools had been placed there without my permission. But I did recognize that some of the more extensive, rustier tools were indeed his. However, most were mine and were smaller and in much better condition.
He demanded that I show him which ones I was claiming, and as I pointed them out, he marked their spot on the board with a black pen. He refused to concede the board itself was mine and seemed reluctant to return the tools he had taken. After a while, he became frustrated and said: “Here, take the board,” and walked away. He never conceded that he was trying to take my tools away.
