The Children in Darkness

I was inside a safe and warm house. It was dark outside, and it felt dangerous. I kept checking the windows to make sure they were locked. I heard noises outside one of the windows. I checked it several times but saw nothing. I then decided to open that window and look outside. I could see three young boys standing near a trash dumpster. They seemed harmless, yet I feared them for some reason. One of the boys saw me and came over quickly. He looked at me and said in a desperate, almost crying voice: “I want to come home.” We are all children in God’s eyes, and I knew these boys represented children that God is calling to himself and that he desires for me to reach out to those he sends my way. This dream is an apostolic calling to bring others closer to God.
