I was driving in my car, heading northbound on a rural highway toward Chico, California. Suddenly, I was given an open vision of the earth's landscape, dry and barren. A whirlwind storm of the Lord immediately descended upon the earth, moving from the east to the west. The scene was dark and powerful beyond anything I had ever seen. Men were standing on the earth like grasshoppers; they stood in the path of the wind, blown in all directions. I looked at the Lord and cried, “take me with you.” His Spirit pulled me into His wind, my whole body flailing helplessly behind Him. But I was with the Lord.
