I heard a voice from heaven and looked up. I could see the heavens open, and a woman I knew was reading from a book. She read: “Jesus is coming. Jesus is coming to the highway.” She repeated this several times.
I then found myself on the earth. Everything was dark. I ran towards the west and then headed southeast. Near an airport, I could see a twin-engine plane heading down a runway toward me. I quickly ran across the runway and continued up a mountainside. It was very dark, and I could not see anything before me. But by faith, I ran through the forest, never tripping or running into anything.
I came out of the darkness and found myself up high. There were sparsely growing trees and dry earth all around. I was in the wilderness and wearing animal clothes like John the Baptist. My hair and beard were long and wild. I looked below and could see an army of men moving up the mountain. They had reached an impasse and were building a large wooden tower. The Lord told me, "Of all the sons of men, none have worked harder to overcome the obstacle that I have placed before him.” I laughed when I heard this because I knew a man could not overcome the plans of God. I do not remember the man’s name, but he never succeeded in climbing the mountain.
I then looked down to the ground and saw a perfect palm frond. I picked it up, held it in my hand, and was reminded of the day the Lord entered Jerusalem. I knew in my spirit that He was coming to His highway, that He was going to make the crooked places straight, and that we were to prepare the way of His return!
