My wife and I were walking in a wooded area when suddenly, a fierce storm came upon us. We began to flee the area, avoiding large trees that were falling over. When we left the wooded area, I realized we were near the California State Capitol, immediately east of the building. The strong winds were slowly destroying the Capitol dome, and I could see a row of large California Palm Trees along the west side of the building. The strong winds were also whipping them, stripping their branches, and knocking down many others.
